We are pleased to announce that the Inspec team has implemented support for custom Link Resolvers in Inspec Direct. 

Link resolvers use the item DOI to generate a link to an organisation's own repository of items, rather than just taking users to the default publisher site.

Institutional admins will now be able to define institution specific link resolvers by contacting Inspec Support (inspecdirect@theiet.org). Custom Links will then be displayed for users accessing Inspec Direct from the institution’s network. Standard DOI links are still available.
