29/03/2023 – Latest release includes Citation query, Funding Body, Grant ID, and OA flag display

We are excited to announce that multiple new features have been added to Inspec Direct which now allow users to identify the following for items in Inspec: 

Citation query

Users can now search for items which cite a specific Inspec item, using either Advanced Search (“Citing” from dropdown) or Quick Search (“CG:”), with the relevant item’s Accession number as a query parameter.

Funding bodies and grant IDs

Funding data has been added to Inspec items and is searchable within an ‘All Fields’ search – for either funding body name or grant ID. 

Open Access flag display 

A label is applied to all items within Inspec to highlight that they are available as Open Access.
